Battle of Tukaroi

The Battle of Tukaroi on 3 March 1575 brought Akbar's forces into direct conflict with Daud Khan Karrani of Bengal. The battle and the subsequent settlement weakened independent Afghan rule and set up the decisive 1576 Battle of Rajmahal.
